Diaphragm seals are suitable for corrosive and clogged media (chemical seals) or for hygienic purposes in the pharmaceutical, food and dairy industries (sanitary seals).
Separation of the process fluid is achieved by an elastic diaphragm sealed to the diaphragm seal body.
The internal chamber between the diaphragm and the Bourdon tube is filled with a suitable liquid while it is placed in a vacuum.
Available for regular pressure gauges, but also for transmitters and differential pressure gauges.
The seals can also be used in combination with capillaries for remote reading.
Diaphragm seals are available in many different designs and exotic materials.
